Summary

For this task you will create two videos and upload them to YouTube. If you do not already have a YouTube account, you will need to create one.

Music Video -

Using whatever software you want you will need to create a music video by combining photos with a tune. The piece needs to be at least one minute long. Feel free to collaborate -- each person can add one minute of photos to the video. You video must demonstrate Ken Burns style effects. The pace of the video should align with the music. Your video needs to contain some text.

Soundtrack

Your task is to add background music to one of four scenes from the movie Rip! A remix manifesto. These scenes are available at http://ccmixter.org/rip. You will be using the scenes without music. Your task is to add the background music using whatever software tools you have available. Here are the constraints:

• the music is to start no earlier than the beep after the countdown. (no music during countdown)
• your music is background music. The volume needs to be at a level where the speech is still audible and understandable.
• the music needs to be legal (either fair use, creative commons or public domain)
• one scene needs to be different. For example,
  • separate audio from video track
  • split video track at some point.
  • replace video (this way the voice/audio continues through your edit
• you should add one other feature
• upload video to youtube (for imovie the share menu -> YouTube)
