Last week we played with FruityLoops, and Renoise. We can trace the roots of programs such as these to the Amiga Tracker scene of the 80s. I would like people to spend some time researching these early trackers. A good place to start would be the wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tracker. Using that article you should be able to search for and watch key tracker videos on youtube. During Thursday's class groups will have a chance to discuss their findings and make presentations to the class. If you have youtube videos that you like, please bring them to class.
